Tour de force/ toor duh forss:
a performance or achievement accomplished with great skill.

Tyrah & I managed a tour de force when we went to Alamanda twice in a weekend. (Give me back my holiday!)


Well my weekends were damn tiring. Saturday went like this;
Tyrah & I woke up early by 7am and went to the MMU grand hall to volunteer for the Tadika graduation ceremony.
There we were mangled, injured, harassed, bullied, and turned deaf by the children. I had to run to the toilet more than 5 times to accompany the children to toilet. I fell once and have the markings to prove it.
We both ate so much (there was food prepared. Free food. Who wouldn't eat a lot?) till we both felt like vomiting.
After hours of cuddling cute crying children and watching Power Rangers with them, we were given a goodie bag and a towel as a gift.
Although it was a tiring and head aching experience I still miss the kids now.

From the event we head to Alamanda where we spent our time searching for the gifts for next week KKR birthday party. After getting the afore mentioned gift, we bought our groceries. IT was a heavy lot. Plus tyrah and I were wearing baju kurung/kebaya and I was on heels.
We wanted to take our passport pictures that day but unfortunately there isn't any blazer for girls. I personally think it's better to take a picture with a blazer for our resume assignment (to look more professional of course).

When we returned to MMU, we then went to CyberRia to meet Tyrah's junior "Saibah" who was recovering from her injury after last week's car accident.

WE returned tired and worn out. I did my laundry and cleaned up a bit before plonking on the bed in dead slumber.


On sunday;
We spent the day dead asleep till 10 am (of course tyrah did her morning prayer and I was on holiday. Don't you dare imply otherwise).

After lazing on the bed, we woke up and made some sushi. I will post the pictures later.
We cleaned up after eating and headed to Alamanda to take our passport pictures and this time I brought along my blazer.

My photo turned out a bit weird and Tyrah's was dark (so she says) but I am just to tired to aim for perfection so I will just opt to accept this perdicament.

As for now, both of us just came back from exercising and now I should be doing my tutorial.
I bought a new Julia Quinn novel "To catch an Heiress". Although I love all her stories I still wish the MPH at Alamanda would also sell her Bridgerton Series! I'm craving for those novels!

Now I really should do my work....

The Speech Moment

Here's what happened.
Prof Stan gave us a break during our class session.
When he came back only 30 ++ people stayed back.
Funny really. Everyone kind of dispersed. Even in the beginning the class was more than half empty and after break it hardly seemed like a lecture at all.
I gave my speech. My chosen topic was about "Mount Kinabalu".
I was so proud to present something from Sabah.
I am VERY PROUD to be a Sabahan.

Now I'm uploading some photo's onto my friendster and facebook.

I better get my tutorial done.
Tomorrow me and tyrah volunteered to help with MMU, Tadika Al-Farabi's graduation ceremony and after that we would head to Alamanda for a little grocery shopping and to buy a gift for next weeks birthday party.
Next week me and Tyrah will be making Tomyam and macaroni white sauce. yum~

Speech-LESS

I have a 4 minute speech tomorrow. I hope Prof Stanley doesn't choose me to present.
Although I would be proud to show him what I'm going to present, he is an overwhelming presence.
I have that kind of reaction to foreigners aka non-Malaysian.
It's because you get the feeling they are measuring Malaysia's standards through our actions and I get all nervous.

I will be presenting on the top 5 places you have to visit in Sabah~
What more can I say? I love my hometown. Love it to bits!

Now I better get back to work.

A jelly out of sea. Poor little thing. When walking on the beach I kinda felt your cousins and brothers at my feet. It was so ticklish. Jellyfish ARE SO CUTE! Luckily the ones in Tanjung Aru beach aren't dangerous.
Seriously, people actually swim in the beach with these things! While I was screaming and shouting everytime I accidently felt it near my toes and legs!

Tedious

Studying is a tedious thing. Really it is and I've been lacking the motivation for it. Sigh. Must I beat myself to get myself to study?
Just today I find myself drawing in class and not listening to the lecture (well, it was also due to the fact he was repeating last weeks lesson for an hour!)
I am heading to the library today. Should finish up my assignments and tutorial. I am a genius am i not?

Today me and Tyrah cooked fried fish, and veggie. I am stuffed. I feel a little unhealthy.
Planning to go to the gym tomorrow. After gym go back to my lair, bathe and then go to the seminar on online selling.
The following day I will have to endure one day of financial dilemma and then a meeting with emina hicoms.
I don't know why but I can't seem to mingle with them. Sigh. Am i anti-social after all?
I don't think so but I do think people are afraid to approach me. It makes me feel like I am the one at fault for having this aura that keeps people away. Oh well. Cowards and people who don't wish to converse with me doesn't deserve my time of day.

I had this self-esteem test during class. I got 7/10. Quite a sufficient amount of self esteem if i do say so myself. Is self esteem same as Pride? I don't really know but I'm quite sure that I am a proud person and I like to analyze situations too much. So much that when I am thrust into a situation I become quiet and immobilized. Funny right? It's always like that and all the time I am confronted with a sudden question or sudden conversation I always pop out the first thing that comes to mind as an answer (and sometimes my ANSWERS are embarrassing!!!). Which means if you catch me by surprise I am likely to answer you in 99% honesty. Which is scary! I might reveal secrets!!! * gasp in horror!
Must learn self perseverance.

PENAT

This is my favourite word this week. well... these two weeks actually. Just last week it was 'tired'.
Now I am 'penat'. HAHA

My plans have been foiled too much! Stop foiling my plans will ya. ish.
First hand notices, an early announcement and a heads up would be very helpful AND very much appreciated!

Now i finally can go online in the comfort of my own room.
I learned a couple of new words:

I liked carte blanche. It means the freedom to do whatever one wishes.

Yesterday I went Alamanda with Kak Az, Tyrah and Syam. WE watched Madagascar... YAY

Then today I went to Bandar Tasik Selatan and Pudu to send Syam. PENAT!
Then went to Midvalley with taxi for RM7. AIZ
Then walked so much! Bought stuff for the house and bought one very sweet & cute blouse!
Tomorrow I will wear my baju kebaya! So happy.

Today me & Tyrah cooked veggie soup and telur goreng.
So many people made fun of me! Of course you might think soup is easy but we made it from scratch! No use of pre-packed soup ingredients at all and have some mercy on newbies please.
Me and tyrah will make better stuff as we learn of course. Friday and Saturday will be macaroni and sushi day! WOOT!

Dead Tired

I had a very wonderful week!
So tired!
Cleaned the house.
Did laundry (well half of it)
Fixed the pipe.
Went to tok wan's house for kenduri sunat thing.
Went shopping with Aunty Kiddy.
Killed my legs.

I went to Midvalley, Gardens, Sungai Wang, Lot10, and Starhill!
Amazing feat if i do say so myself.

Aunty kiddy paid for my lunch. We ate at The Ship! Yummy STEAKS! and she also bought me baskin robbins ice cream.
Note to self: Never eat Baskin Robbins more than one scoop. The Green tea ice cream was yummy.

I love Marcs and spencer! I didnt even know what they sold until I went there. There products are quite affordable and really nice. I bought royal jelly and honey hand lotion and sakura powder. The smell is nice.

I was so tired! Papa bought me a fridge! Not a big one but god enough for me! This weekend I will go alamanda and buy stuff to put in the fridge.

Lectures are ok. It's nice. I like the subjects this sem. More calculations rather than theory. hoho

New Lair

I have a new lair~
I've moved into nea apartment~
I have moved and I'm SO tired!
Luckily I moved all my stuff already and all that's left is to clean up the place.
The filter we bought seem to have a leakage. Either that or I didn't install it properly.

A lot has happened this week. What is weird is that many of the things that happened weren't favorable...
I got a heck of a sarcasm from my lecturer.. TWICE
Grr...
The filter is leaking, my hands tired, my feet tired, we went to carrefour and the stuff we wanted wasn't there!
On the plus side, we got free transport from Bg Pejal, we didn't miss any classes, i finally finished carrying all my stuff and thanks to Nana my pet Raizen has enough food and new wallpaper.
Thanks nana and congrats on the 5A. You beat me girl and continue your progress.
I'm sleepy now.
It's been a tiring week and I've been worried about someone. I hope she overcomes this trial of life. I tried looking for the keychain. There wasn't any at Alamanda. I'll have to go find it elsewhere.

Thanks also to Josh for talking to me. I really needed to 'talk' to someone that time. That stupid bag was SO heavy i wanted to cry. Talking stopped me from crying. My hands have blister and i squashed my toes twice. Heck the bag was like as heavy as Raihana! Thats more than 30kg for your information.
I watched High school musical. It was.. ok.. not so Great since i dont really like the main characters. I liked Ryan's character and i like the song he sang with Sharpay. haha. Their character are the funniest to watch.

Now to do other... stuff.

I watched Madagascar: Return 2 Africa.
It was hilarious and good fun.
Recommended watch for people who enjoy a funny movie.

This IS my most fave character! I love the penguin squad the most.

A Friday

Oh my... I am So tired... T_T

Woke myself up early this morn and went to the restorant to work. Got dizzy from running around in the restorant.
After that I went to my dad's farm. I saw the chickens, turkeys, pigeons, ducks, bangau, trees, rabbits, fishes and the goats!
I love the goats and chicken the most!
The chicken and goats ARE CHO KAWAII!
They are so fat and round and VERY ADORABLE!
haha

I didnt get to see the horse though. Will go next time again to see them.

Then we went to beach. Bought keropok lekor, mangga and jambu! Yum~

Shopping

Shopping can either be a good thing or a bad thing.
Good when you get the stuff you want.
Bad if the stuff you bought is wrong for you.
Example... I bought heels that didnt fit = bad shopping experience
I bought a bracelet with a dragon carving = GOOD

I wanted to buy the ABBA album. It was RM49.90. (a two in one album)
But my purse was crying so i decided not to buy (not yet... hehe)

I even bought two handbags. Buy one free one! So happy~~~
I walked for HOURS and my feet are STILL killing me.
I went to the dentist. It was a terrifying experience. My teeth was cleaned, polished, drilled and whatever you wish to call it. It was painful but my teeth feels good now.
When the doctor cleaned my teeth I thought my gums wouldn't bleed but when i gargled and spit, BLOOD came out!
I was gross and I felt like a baby trying to spit but it was like the spit wouldnt come out. Can you imagine what i look like? I'm sure i wasnt a pretty sight. I think i had problem using my mouth because it hurt.

Oh~ back to my shopping experience. I went round and round Center Point. It was so long since I've done that. My leg kinda feel like lead. Very painful lead.
I bought a gift for 2 people. I hope they will like it. ahaks.

I worked half a day at the restoran and mam gave me RM30 (which went flying away when I bought the novel "The Duke & I".

Already packed my bag and now need to look for a bag to put my laptop in.
I hate that my laptop is SO heavy. T___T

Sabah today

Sabah today,
looked kind of gray.
The clouds look gray as if it were to cry. I was sitting there in the car and staring out the window...
The view was amazing.
I like to be able to look at the sky wide and big. With nothing else in view. No tall buildings, no smoke, no tree tops, and no disturbance.
It makes me feel as if I can feel the whole world.
As if that one piece of sky, all the way up to the horizon is the entire world and more.
I love looking at the ocean and i love the sound of the beating waves.

I'm planning to go to the beach one more time before going back to cyberjaya.
This time I want to stay a bit longer and soak my feet. And this time I wont forget the camera.

I'm going to the dentist tomorrow. Got to sleep early and wake up early. Of I go...

Not what I wanted

Ok sure... I think my results are good and i should be happy but i wanted at least 3.8 and above. Damn. So close...

Next time its 4 flat for sure!

Tanjung ARu

I went tanjung Aru today. My mum gave me permission to drive the car. Boy was i nervous. It's like I never got that P license at all!
I collected the beach sand i needed (not for some witchery or anything) and some shells.
It was SO NICE at the beach even though it was drizzling. I love the beach.
The water felt so good.
I tried to rescue every single jellyfish that got stranded on the beach. I think i killed some as well. I couldn't risk touching them so i used a stick instead. Plus I stepped one by accident. Sorry little guy.
Then I went running and wading in the water. It was nice. No other word to put it. The sky was brilliant and so beautiful. You could see the blue and yellow and orange blend like melted mixed ice cream. I liked the BLUE of the sky. For some reason the blue sky is always there but always a different shade. The sky in Cyberjaya is blue, but a bit light and clouded but the blue sky here is so clear and blue. The clouds are different too! The clouds in Cyber is small and fading. Sometimes they seem like the are being spread onto the sky like trying to spread frozen butter on bread but the cloud in Sabah is big, fluffy, very white and looks so delicious. Like some very clean and untouchable cotton candy.

Oh I love Sabah so much. Whether it's raining, or shine. Whether I'm sick or in perfect health. IT always makes me feel proud to be born in Sabah.

I love home so much. Its the only place that I feel i dont have to pretend when I dont want to and I dont have to push myself so much. It feels nice to be at home.

Ok.. NAna complaining about something.

Oh! I ate ice-cream pulut! It was so good! From now on it will be up there with my top 5 ice-cream favorites.
